 Release of new IoT solutions

Singapore, 28 August 2023
At Newtone we always aimed at providing the best possible system to bring more flexibility to IoT.
In 2020, we first released a full but compact Local Profile Assistant (LPA) for various IoT devices from gateways to constrained devices. That made possible to download, enable, disable eSIM profiles like we do today on our personal smartphone. With the integration of a remote interface to the LPA, we made possible the eSIM profile management from the cloud to a fleet of devices.
Recently, we were glad to see the new architecture for IoT eSIM profile management specified by GSMA was very similar to what we have imagined and developed before. The two specifications SGP.31 and SGP.32 define a new environment to make eSIM, devices, MNOs, device management platforms able to communicate with each others in an interoperable way. Even better, like our earlier solution, all was based on existing infrastructures: eSIM profiles and servers for consumers are compatible with IoT eSIM profiles and servers.
We are proud today to announce a new release of Newtone solution fully compliant to the new IoT standard defined by GSMA and ready to be deployed for a large range of devices based on MPU, MCU or modems.
